Still lookin’ up.
The importance of the soundtrack to a movie, video game, TV show, or any other form of media is really underrated, in my opinion.
I was just talking with someone I know who works in audio production, and these guys do not get enough credit for what they do. Same goes for the musicians behind it. Sound and music can make or break the end project, and it really is a fine art.
Call me weird, but I do listen to official soundtracks in my personal time quite often. More often than not, it’s ambience or background music, with no lyrics at all. If it’s good, the audio captures (and defines, really) the mood and feel of whatever media it’s from. Listening to the music on its own brings back a lot of the enjoyment from the entire production, and hearing it separately builds a much greater appreciation for it.
Knowing, understanding, and appreciating ALL aspects of a media production (acting, voicework, cinematography, visual effects, audio, music, writing, set design…the list goes on) is something more people need to do.

HEY (: I understand this is really random BUT I’ve just done a cover of “Give Me Love” by Ed Sheeran and I was wondering if you could help me out? I’m trying to get 250 LIKES on my cover, so if you could watch my cover and then give it a ‘thumbs up’ that would mean the world! Thanks so much if you decide to support me and my music.
You know, I never found a good reason not to help someone out when it costs you so little. That, and this cover is actually pretty damn good. Great voice, keep up the good work and best of luck with your music!
A more “country” take on Taylor Swift & Ed Sheeran’s “Everything Has Changed”. I dig.
Those mornings where your iPod takes you on a trip down memory lane.
These guys are ridiculously talented. Check their channel for some of their crazier stuff if you’ve got some spare time.
“All I knew, this morning when I woke
Is I know something now, know something now, I didn’t before”
“And I’d be smart to walk away, but you’re quicksand”

Really iTunes? Really?
Cause I don’t know, I don’t know where I am
Can you tell me, will I break or will I bend
Will the wind ever come again
